Chinwe Ugwu solicited start-up support fund from Peter Mbah Foundation. Her business plan is to start a neighbourhood food processing business. She carried out a search and discovered that her business will excel since many women in her neighbourhood walk a distance to grind their cooking items.
She is a mother of one and presently expectant. Food processing with a motorised grinding machine is a business she can do while taking care of her new born and her home without much stress. Chinwe believes that this business will yield sustainable income for her young family. Apart from the machine she was also given funds to buy other items needed to run the business successfully. Savings from the business will enable her explore other business opportunities.
